Karen told me she was really looking forward for their first and probably last family photoshoot. They never had a professionally photos taken and everyone, except Karen, was sceptics about this. So, the mood for photos, was completely OFF.
I get it, almost all the time “I’m not photogenic… I don’t like my face… I don’t like my body…I don’t have a good photo…”, but Karen…. had that feeling that I can do the magic for her family and all she asked for Christmas was “a photoshoot with Oli”. I listen, I look at them, and I already see them happy and with zero worries for how the photos will come out :))
A gorgeous family, mom and dad, brother & sisters with their family in a perfect location: BELIZE! What can beat this?! The hardest part is to make them feel comfortable with you so I start with few portraits of the kids and than I told them “OK, guys, is time for serious things here: everyone, get a drink and shoes off!” And… we start… than, the second beer… than a cocktail, than few portraits around and then… the pool! :))
When I left, they told me “you know, none of us wanted this, but now we really look forward for those photos. Are so much fun!!!
This photoshoot was at an wonderfull place, with a pure caribbean flavor, CAPTAIN MORGAN RETREAT, located in north Ambergris Caye, Belize.
