6 months old. Pink Family Photoshoot

Marisa & Kristian are my very good friends from San Pedro. I had my first photoshoot at mayan ruins with them (the gorgeous photo with the cloudy Xunantunich…).. Later, Marisa,being pregnant wiht her first son, Ethan, Christmas Photos this year and again pregnancy and also new born (few hours old) baby Ava. She was my first photoshoot in an hospital, only hours after born… Check my blog 11/11/11 :)

Baby Ava was actually the reason of this photoshoot. She turn 6 months old and we needed this. We did not plan anything.. I just told Marisa “I’m coming, and we’ll see”. When I reach at the house, Marisa told me “Oli… I have not a clue what to wear” so I asked “what color is Ava?” PINK! Well… let’s find pink for everyone! And than, we start :)

So much fun. First photo I snap was “girls, getting ready” :)

Recreating a family day: Pregnancy

My friendship with Marisa & Kristian began in May 2010 when I asked them a favor; to model as my bride and groom for a photoshoot at the Mayan Ruins. I wanted to start doing weddings at the temples, but I needed a couple to start with. Nobody wanted to book without a preview… and yes, they were more than happy to help me. I knew them from before, but we weren’t that close. So, after 2 days together, days that we had a blast, we become close friends. No, more than that; I HEART them!

My first pregnancy photo shoot was also with them and it was…wow! Their first baby: Baby ETHAN! So exciting!

Last month, Marisa called me and told me she’s ready for her second pregnancy photoshooot and this time it’s a girl. SO EXCITING!!! So, last month, we had our photoshoot, with a completely different flavor than the first one. This time, Ethan was around and everything included him. What we decided to do was capture a day from their life… moments they will cherish forever. The fun, the games, their time together as a family, the bedtime stories…

Island Academy Beach BBQ Blast

March 6, 2011 – spring fundraiser in the form of a Beach Blast and BBQ! The event was at Wayo’s Beachside, south of Boca del Rio. Tons of fun! …and games! BBQ grill was hosted by a class from The Island Academy. Sand castle contests, beer drinking contest, kids running around and having tons of fun! DELICIOUS FOOD! A large community from San Pedro community attend this fund raiser!

Susan & Family – Belize Sail Boat & Beach Photos!

I was enjoying every single second of our time together. I loved seeing your kids playing and being natural… I loved seeing you doing your usual stuff….
This is definitely what I wanted! I can tell you for sure, that this photo shoot was one of the easiest photo-sessions what I ever had.

Susan, you ask me to capture your family the way it is… and this exactly what I did.
We did only ordinary things… things that ANYONE can do… and look perfect!
I love the natural of the photos… and your kids and family being the way it was…
