I absolutely loved the little cozy resort where you were staying, Xanadu. Amazing spacious rooms with tons of natural light, perfect view and pure tropical atmosphere, your day amazed me from the beginning.

One of my standards questions for my brides & grooms is “What make you choose Belize?”
April & Jason live in USA and they just decide to run away of their usual life and get married in Paradise. They visit Belize before their wedding and fall in love with it. “Belize is perfect and is exactly what we wanted to get married. Simple, intimate and wonderful”. And I have to agree, their wedding day was exactly the way they want it.
They had only 2 of their friends with them and everything was easy. The Ceremony was at Banyan Bay resort, here on San Pedro town.

Start from now, I’ll add each month about my work.
I was thinking to add a little bit of flavor of weddings through my blog. The month of may was amazing. I absolutely love intimate and small weddings. Intimate is 2 people, just the bride and groom, and a small wedding have a group up to 30.
My first wedding for this month was may 1st. Rhonda and Colin, a perfect intimate wedding at Belizean Shores. Oh, WOW! Paradise! Michelle, the wedding coordinator from Belizean Shores Beach Resort did a fantastic job! Just AMAZING! Even if I’m used with weddings in Belize, my jaw is still dropping when I see an wedding arrangement. Start from the beginning of the second email, I had the feeling I know them forever. I ask Rhonda to write me about them and when I saw the 2 pages email she sent me, I told myself “this is too cool”. Was late evening when I read it, so I got a glass of wine and start reading their story… I was giggling the entire time and I had a feeling I had an face-to-face conversation with her. Was fantastic! We email eachother a lot and we also meet before wedding. We stay almost 3 hours at Fido’s, one day before the wedding. I got to know them and I was extremely happy I photograph them exact the way they are. BELIZE: one comon thing that they absolutely love! Number 1 passion is sailing and this is what is bringing them back every time. That’s why the ring shot incorporate a sailing detail… Next day after their wedding I went at Azul Beach Resort and photograph them sailing around, as they do it every time they are here. They were blessed with the most amazing sunset dinner at Belizean Shores Resort. Was first time when I photograph a dinner on the lagoon side.
The Weather was really nice. Warm and tropical. No rain, no mosquitoes :)

We “click” from when we meet for the first time. I absolutely loved their simplicity, happiness and the fact that they are together from 9 years and their love is so powerfull make me just be really greatfull to capture you they are. Was a moment in their wedding that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Before my first click on Daniel spoke for himself and I heard him “look at me… moments before my wedding and YOU are photographing ME! I’m so happy!” The tone of his voice, the look from his eyes…give me goosebumps and was one of the moments I’ll never forget. He was so happy and so proud that I’ll photograph him. He make me be so proud for being a wedding photographer. Was one of the best THANK YOU that someone ever give me.

I photograph Daniel for half hour only by himself and with his mom. Tons of emotions in those moments… I loved it! The bride and also the ceremony was at Banyan Bay Beach Resort, amazing amazing place!
I enjoyed every single moment we had together. Everything was perfect. This was a dream wedding… seriously!

The Wedding of Krystle & Brent – may 21, 2011
I don’t even know how to start on this one. What a pleasant surprise! Was too good to be true. Soo lay-back, and easy going. I like them from the moment we meet and I already knew the workflow of their wedding once we chat. She was belizean and meet him in USA. Honest to be, I avoid huge weddings and theirs was huge for me: 180 people. I did the timeline and everyone follow it! Was amazing! The Ceremony was at church, in San Pedro had tons of emotions. The family photos were taken at Sunbreeze Hotel in San Pedro and the reception was at Blue Water Grill, one of the finest restaurants from San Pedro, Belize.
